Burn Permits are required for all outdoor residential burning. To burn within the City of Montague city limits you must obtain a burn permit from City Hall located at 230 S. 13th St. Montague, CA 96064. Burn permits are $2.00 and are good for one year from the date of purchase. Burn Permits usually can be suspended from May-November due to critical fire conditions.
